Hi Shark Families!

Let me start by introducing myself to any new Shark families.  My name is Meredith Brohm, and I am the volunteer chair for the CCS Sharks.  My family is excited to start it’s fifth year as CCS Sharks.  I have three girls (15, 13, and 10) who swim competitively year round at Dynamo Swim Club.  My older two will be helping out the coaches when their club swim schedule allows.  The summer swim is by far the Brohm family's favorite thing about this neighborhood!!  I hope all of you enjoy it just as much as we do! 

For those that are new or did not know, our CCS Sharks Team is a self-funded, volunteer-run organization within the neighborhood.  The HOA provides us with the pool, facilities and needed equipment, and the rest it is up us to volunteer!  This year we are fortunate that our swim team committee is back and ready to lead us through another successful summer swim season.  However, our kiddos are getting older and many of us will need replacements next year.  We are hoping that families with younger children would like to learn these roles along with us this season to continue this great CCS tradition. With that being said, volunteering is essential for us to operate a safe and efficient swim meet.  New this year, we are requiring 4 volunteer spots for all families with swimmers competing in the meets.  However with 3 home meets, our volunteer needs are more than what our required amount provides.  We are kindly asking for families with 2 or more children on the swim team to do an additional shift or two to help.

If you only have a mini-shark, you do not need to worry about volunteering!
