Hi Shark families! 

Welcome to the 2025 Swim season!! On behalf of the Parent Committee, I want to welcome you to this season and provide you with a couple of updates. 

First, my name is Becky Filson, and I am stepping into the Committee Chairperson role for this season. I swam competitively in my younger years, and I have 2 Sharks on the team--Jack (11) and Emily (9). I cannot thank Meredith Brohm enough for everything that she has done for our team in this capacity over the past several seasons, and I am even more glad that she will be staying on the committee to help us out this season. I'm also grateful for our other returning committee members: Lindsay Ryan, Jennifer Ray, Stephanie Guido, and Layla Shaikh. This team would not run nearly as efficiently without their commitment and guidance. 

We are looking for one additional committee member for the 2025 season! This person will be responsible for parent and swimmer spirit wear. We have a great vendor, which should make this job very manageable from a time requirement. If you have interest in helping out in this capacity, please reach out to me. 

We are also extremely excited to welcome back our head coaches, Camille Ryan and Eve McEwan, for this season!! Camille and Eve will both be back from their sophomore years in college and are bringing their enthusiasm and expertise to coach our Sharks! 

We are currently hiring assistant coaches to round out our staff for the 2025 season. If you have a 14-year-old or older with significant experience in swimming, we would love for them to apply. The link is: https://forms.gle/K2YVZDe1Tvr-FQf5CA.

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, March 30th for our Back to the Pool event at the Rec Center. Come meet the coaches and try on swimsuits to order the appropriate size for your swimmers!
